The MPU6500 (GY-6500) module is a 6-axis (6DOF) motion sensor that combines a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis gyroscope in a compact, low-power form factor. Designed for precise motion detection, attitude estimation, and orientation tracking, it is widely used in drones, robots, wearable electronics, game controllers, and IoT applications.
Built using MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) technology, the MPU6500 offers high accuracy, low drift, and fast response. The module communicates with microcontrollers via the I2C or SPI interface, making it compatible with ESP32, STM32, and Pi systems.
