Description:
The INMP441 is a high-performance, omnidirectional MEMS microphone module designed for digital audio applications that require precise sound input and low latency. Built around the INMP441 MEMS sensor, this compact board outputs digital audio signals via the I²S (Inter-IC Sound) interface, eliminating the need for an external ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter).
The INMP441 is highly sensitive, low-noise, and capable of capturing audio in real-time with excellent accuracy. Its omnidirectional pickup pattern makes it ideal for detecting sound from all directions, making it perfect for applications such as voice recognition, smart assistants, sound localization, audio recording, AI/ML voice analysis, and robotics.
With low power consumption, high signal-to-noise ratio, and compact form factor, the module is compatible with most modern microcontrollers and development boards, including ESP32, Raspberry Pi, STM32, and Arduino (with I²S support). The module features clearly labeled pins and onboard voltage regulation for stable 3.3V operation.
