Description:
The AD8232 ECG Module is a compact, low-power integrated signal conditioning block designed specifically for measuring the electrical activity of the heart (Electrocardiogram or ECG). It simplifies the process of capturing heart signals by filtering and amplifying the biopotential signals from the skin surface, making it ideal for wearable heart rate monitors, medical devices, and fitness applications.
This module extracts, amplifies, and filters the ECG signals from electrodes placed on the body and outputs a clean waveform suitable for microcontroller ADC input or analog visualization. It’s widely used in DIY health monitoring kits, research, and prototype medical devices.
